Like #2 JBrumfield I took my camera to a Jays game.  In this case it was Friday nights slugfest between the Rangers and the Jays.  Here are some of my favourite pictures from that night.

Rich Harden didn't have it on Friday.

Brett Cecil was done after a couple of innings.  Note the grip on the ball and the glove angle as he gets ready to deliver the pitch.

Adam Lind had some good cuts early in the game.

The big battle was between Harden and Travis Snider.  Here is one of the pitches fouled off by Travis.

Travis hurt his wrist in this game.  He said it was in this at-bat when he released one hand off the bat.  It could have been on this pitch.

Here is the home run swing.

Casey Janssen was oustanding.  Here is a shot showing his drop and drive style of pitching.  Note the back knee as it scrapes off the mound.

Fred Lewis had a big opposisite field double to add some insurance runs.  You can see Lewis reaching for the pitch to punch it past the third baseman.

Adam Lind looks happy after his home run.

Finally, it was a lovely night with the roof open.  The CN tower was showing its colours.

Awesome work!  I don't know where to start - but capturing the ball in the frame in the Feldman delivery and Snider HR is beautiful.  And Casey Janssen - the Ernie Whitt of pitchers!  Nice circle change from Cecil?

Very nice photos, Gerry. I was at that game, as well, and that Snider at-bat was fantastic. I wouldn't be surprised if, come the end of the season, that is one of the five best at-bats of the year. Five or six consecutive foul balls on a 3-2 count before hitting a massive 3-run homer. You could feel the anticipation building with each pitch.
