If the Los Angeles Dodgers are going to go to the World Series for the first time since 1988, they need this man to be the man and he is featured in our latest installment of POTD.
Manny Ramirez collected three hits and drove in a pair of runs in the Dodgers 5-1 victory over St. Louis in Game 3 of the National League Division Series. That helped the Dodgers complete a three game series sweep of the Cards and give them another re-match against the Philadelphia Phillies. Instead of facing each other in round one of the playoffs last season, the two teams sqaure off this time in the National League Championship Series.
The Game 1 probable starters are Clayton Kershaw and Cole Hamels in a battle of southpaws at Dodger Stadium. First pitch is set for 8:07 p.m. ET tonight and if you're lucky, you may be able to watch it on Sportsnet if they don't have a pressing poker or darts tournament to cover.
