The Fisher Cats won to prevent another whitewash on the farm. Good pitching by Adrian Martin and home runs by Nick Gorneault and Brian Jeroloman paced New Hampshire. David Purcey and Shaun Marcum took the loss in their starts.
David Purcey had a rocky start, he gave up eight runs in the first two innings and nine overall. Purcey threw 104 pitches and only 54 were for strikes. Purcey walked six. Las Vegas scored five late runs after being down 9-0. Jason Lane had two hits including a two run home run and Joe Inglett had three hits.
New Hampshire scored four runs in the fourth. Brian Dopirak had to leave the game and pinch-hitter Nick Gorneault hit a home run. After David Cooper and Brad Emaus singled, Brian Jeroloman hit a three run home run to make it 4-0. Adrian Martin started and pitched six shutout innings. Celson Polanco and Edgar Estanga each gave up an unearned run but Danny Farquhar got the last four outs for the save. Brad Emaus went 3-4.
Shaun Marcum started and pitched 3 plus innings. He did give up two runs in the third on three hits. Trystan Magnuson followed and ran into trouble in the fifth inning. Magnuson walked a couple and then gave up a double. There might have been issues with the umpire's strike zone as Jays catcher John Jaspe was ejected in the middle of the fifth. Magnuson gave up four runs in the inning and Tampa led 6-0. Dunedin finally scored in the sixth, Justin Jackson led off with a double and later scored on an error. The Jays added three against switch-pitcher Pat Venditte in the eighth, John Tolisano hit a three run home run to score Adam Loewen and Jackson who had each singled. Daniel DeLucia pitched 3.1 shutout innings for the Jays and the free agent signee, formerly in the Tigers organization, still has a zero ERA. The Jays were unable to get anything going in the ninth and lost 6-4. Jackson was the only Jay with two hits.
John Anderson had one of his best starts, he allowed an unearned run in five innings. Due to the rainout starter Chase Lirette relieved Anderson and in the eight gave up back to back jacks worth three runs and turn a 2-1 lead into a 4-2 loss.
Lansing scored their first run in the third inning, Balbino Fuenmayor doubled and scored on an error. In the eighth, in a 1-1 tie, Kenny Wilson hit a solo home run to make it 2-1. Wilson was the only Lugnut with two hits.
Auburn at Williamsport
This game was suspended after two innings with Auburn down 1-0.
Wade Miller made a rehab start and have up two runs in three innings. Alex Pepe gave up a run in the fourth and took the loss. The Jays scored two runs with two hitters involved in both. In the first inning Oliver Dominguez and Nick Zaleski singled and Carlos Perez brought in a run with a sac fly. In the third Zaleski singled and Perez doubled him to third. Zaleski scored on a sac fly. Zaleski had two hits and is now hitting .321.

Tyler Ybarra took the loss by giving up a run in the ninth. Ryan Shopshire started and pitched five shutout innings. the Jays had only four hits, Zaleski again had two of them to push his average to .344.
