Lind DESERVES our support - this is his FIRST full year in the Bigs - the kid will be a star - get out there and vote for the guy!
the kid will be a star
Not to quibble with your grammar, but you've got the verb tense there wrong. The rest of North America hasn't noticed yet, but the kid IS a star!
As to Lind - I agree - EVEN if he doesn't make the All Star team he'll still be a star to us - AND very soon to the rest of the baseball world!
Here's hoping Lind still winds up in St. Louis as an injury replacement.
I put in 2100 votes myself.

Why on God's green earth was Player A selected over Player B for Torii Hunter's All-Star replacement? That's Nelson Cruz somehow getting in as Player A over Adam Lind, who is Player B. I am beginning to hate Joe Maddon.
Hey. Hey. More than a dozen. I probably voted fourteen times.
And yes, one could conclude that Lind was the most deserving outfielder not named to the team by virtue of him being the only outfielder on the final man ballot. So, it makes no sense that when Hunter needs a replacement Maddon doesn't pick Lind, but instead picks an outfielder who is statistically inferior (and not a same-team replacement).

"Major League Baseball said Friday that Cruz was chosen because he received the next-highest number of votes for outfielders on the AL player ballot."
Regardless, I notice the NL managed to do the smart thing and not send the player with the highest vote total not at the game (Alfonso Soriano) and instead one of the players most deserving (or at least more deserving) in Werth.
Aaron will start at second now that Pedroia has decided to stay in Boston with his hospitalized wife.
Maddon added Pena to take Pedroia's spot.
