Adam Loewen hit his first home run of the season among his three hits.  Another Canadian, Randy Schwartz, also homered for Auburn.  Those home runs helped the only two affiliates in action to wins.  Dunedin used their strong bullpen to pitch five shutout innings waiting for the offense to break out.  After being one hit on Sunday, Auburn two hit Jamestown on Monday.

How is Loewen doing? His overall stat line is bad, but I wonder how his progress is going? Can anyone closer to the scene give a little update?

I don't have anything like a scouting report, but for what it's worth he's hitting 297/366/459 for a 825 OPS over his last 10 games.

Eric Thames was back tonight.  Hopefully, the short absence was not a recurrence of his injury but a nasty flu or something. John Tolisano homered and Andrew Liebel pitched 8 strong, as the D-Jays won.
