After an off day it's a good time to look at the draft.

As posted over the weekend, there was a blogger mock draft. Here are the results of Round 1. Picking for the Jays, given the circumstances, I went with Shooter Hunt. I think the chance of this happening on Thursday is maybe 10% as I think there's going to be a couple players, particularly Aaron Hicks and maybe a college reliever, who are going to go ahead of the Jays pick forcing a position player the Jays like to fall. We'll probably get a better feel for that as the final mock drafts come out today and tomorrow.

And then after that, Round 2, up until the Jays pick (the 2nd round is still continuing now):
I think that there's a good chance that a lot of the college pitchers will go quickly so the Jays might not have a good shot at one in Round 2. The draft's a lot easier when you have extra picks.
The draft begins Thursday afternoon. ESPN2 will televise the first round (at least in the US) and MLB.com will have every pick as its made.
