Schroedinger's Bat re-take the lead from the Eastern Shore Birds in the Barfield division, The Trembling Wilburys inch another step closer to the London Tigers in Carter with the Megalomaniacs charging hard behind them and perennial contenders the Austin Senators move into second behind the Magic 9 in Alomar.



Thanks to Steve Goodwin of the pace setting Magic 9 we have roto stats for the Alomar division. Not pretty reading at all for some of us, although the names at the top come as no surprise.

In Barfield Division, BSL Blue Sox and Wedding Singers had agreed to a trade with Smoltz and Sheffield as the principal parties. It was set to go through today, and to hit our rosters tomorrow, but the trade has just disappeared. It didn't go through, and it doesn't show up as vetoed.

Gwyn, can you help?

I'm pretty sure the trades go through like that.  Click on your roster, and go to wedneday, or even thursday, and see if the new player is listed.

My Eastern Shore Birds' big showdown with the Bat didn't go so well.

On top of that, the great (well, hot anyway) Christian Guzman got dinged and is out for the year. It's the "curse of the Birds" ... I've had disastrous results from my 2B, SS, MI slots every season in the BBFL. Furcal struggling with lingering injuries this year. Bobby Crosby completely forgetting how to swing a bat last year. Trade me Jeter and Pedroia and the curse will crush them like bugs -- could be just what the Jays need.

Done. Russel Martin and Adrian Gonzalez for the Derek.

If the curse sidelines Jeter for the rest of the season, I'm going to feel like a yutz. Oh well ... anything to beat the Yankees.

So ... Blocked Youngsters ... what about Pedroia? Let's put the whammy on Boston too.
