After tonight’s loss I don’t have the energy to write anything too detailed. Instead, I’ll prove short summaries of each game and then highlight three notable performers for each team. These performances are usually good, but occasionally are notable for other reasons. Tonight, the Blue Jays resolved to strike first, even with runs from the other team imminent, so we’ll see how their affected their results.
Syracuse 6 @ Toledo 5 - Box Score
Victor Zambrano’s rehab is not progressing well, as he finished today’s appearance with a WHIP over 2, which includes a walk an inning and more than a hit allowed per inning. A trio of relievers pitched the final four innings and protected Syracuse’s lead. Five Chiefs had two hits and the team hit around Roman Colon in the middle of the sixth to gain a 6-5 lead, which would hold up.Notable Performers
