For the offseason I'm going to continue to trawl through the thousands (literally) of photographs I shot this year for Batter's Box and present you something neat that I didn't put up the first time around. This week, by request, is young Felix Hernandez of the Seattle Mariners:

King Felix was also featured on one of the Hardball Times baseball cards that I created during the season.  Hopefully over the winter I'll have a chance to make more of those, too.

Aaron Reynolds uses Pentax cameras and lenses.

I called them during the season, but they employ their own guys and are not hiring.

Actually, I'm wondering why I used the shot I did on the THT card -- this one is similar but better.  I guess it just goes to show how your perceptions change with a little bit of distance, time-wise.

I'd like to see the NFH treatment of Sizemore, too.

That Hernandez shot is simply beautiful.  It really should be on a baseball card.

If it was a movie idea, some Fox executive would be handing over a couple of bags of loot (you know, the ones with the dollar signs on them) and exclaiming, "Reynolds, you've done it again!"
