Photo of the Day Photo of the Day: Adam Lind
Adam Lind deserves some photo of the day respect; unfortunately, I've only photographed that one Cleveland game during his time up with the big club, and as far as I can recall he had only the one at-bat.  As a result, my coverage is pretty limited.  With that in mind, here's Lind stepping up to the plate:

Lind has Willie Upshaw to beat out to be the Jays all time #26 in the Lobby of Numbers.

This kid is currently leading the Jays in OPS.

There may or may not be some small sample size issues though...

Never saw an "Old Hickory" bat before.  I wonder if it really is made of hickory?  They're mostly ash, and some maple, in recent years.

A quick google search reveals the answer: and it is found at www.oldhickorybats.com

No, they don't make hickory sticks. It is maple, or maple and ash if it's one of their pro bats, but not hickory.

Looking at this photo, it looks like he is going over his gameplan while staring down the pitcher. His gameplan is, of course, "See ball. Hit ball".
