Actually, according to Mythbusters you cannot die from being painted gold :)

Yeah, but they cheated as well; they just added gold colour to liquid latex. Bet a lead based gold paint would have a different effect than gold coloured latex :)

But in all seriousness, if I was to paint myself gold for Opening Day, what would be the safest paint to use, where could I get such a paint, and do they sell it in significant amounts?

Maybe I'll just get a body suit.
