Photo of the Week returns with Russ Adams standing outside of the Jays dugout, waiting his turn in the batter's box:
Hey Aaron, I remember you posted a panoramicish picture of the RC on Opening Night in a thread somewhere. I've tried looking everywhere on Da Box for it. Do you know if this photo indeed exists somewhere on the site and not just a an illusion of my mind?
Hrm. I don't remember doing a panorama of the RC... maybe you're thinking of this one?
Or if you're thinking of the view from the dugout --
There's a semi-hidden gallery on my website that houses all of the previous photos of the day (plus almost all of the other photos I've put up in other threads) in thumbnailed form. Click here to see it. Make sure to check out what's in the folders, too.

That second one was from the '04 season -- you can tell by the minty carpet. The guy with his back turned behind the ball cart is Robert Dudek.
Hmmm...that's strange. I could distictly remember having a picture on my desktop of Opening Night taken from the 500 level. Maybe it was from somewhere else.
I can think of a good ten games where Russ Adams was The Story.
The Photo captures the spirit of a man taking it to the next level.

Opening night I was in the cheap, bad seats, front row of the left field corner next to the big screen. So if I shot it, that would be the vantage point.
Maybe it's the photo of Magpie in the press box, which I believe was taken from the 500 level. If memory serves me correctly that was very early in the season.

Yes. The "David Roberts, The Freshest Name In Nuts" game was, in fact, very early. Saturday, April 23, to be exact. And if my memory hasn't failed, Magpie was looking quite thrilled with the proceedings of what would turn out to be a disgustingly unfair loss for Dave Bush.
Really, why is that still a personal statistic? Pitchers allow homeruns and other hits. Pitchers walk and strike out batters. Pitchers throw wild pitches. But they don't win and lose games. Teams win and lose games.
That's the weird thing NFH. This picture that I have in my memory was exactly from the 500 level outfield. It must be a strange coincidence from a picture I had from another website.
Lo and Behold it was a strange coincidence.
