Thanks, Tango, for organizing this. It is usually the case that young players at key defensive positions are underrated when evaluated subjectively. I haven't seen much of Aaron Rowand and Jhonny Peralta, but there are a number of indicators which suggest that fans do not fully appreciate their skills. I'd love to hear a comment from a White Sox and Indian follower on their strengths and weaknesses.

It might also be interesting to have the leaders by current position.

Omar Vizquel continues to get high marks, so I think there is some indication that it takes fans a year or two to accept reality. At the same time, Betancourt, Francoeur, etc skyrocketed to the top in no time.

The best we can say is that this is how fans think of the players today, and take that FWIW.

Yes, position reports will be coming up in a few weeks. Unfortunately, the MLB page that I pulled the fielders from did not distinguish between the 3 OF positions, which is just shocking to me. So, it's a little more work for me.
