His performance yesterday was an encouraging step in the right direction. I think his bad performance thus far was in order to get as many people to bench him on their fantasy teams as he can, so he could immediately go on a tear and make them all regret their lack of faith ;)

Vernon definitely has a much more relaxed stance than other hitters. Funny, I took a friend to the Opener (who has become a complete die-hard all of a sudden. Go figure), and he made a comment that Vernon looks real lazy. Guess I should take him to a few more so V-Dub can show off the Gold Glove.
