The farm affilliates took a good beating yesterday, with only Dunedin putting up much of a fight.
Durham 7 Syracuse 2
The Bulls trampled the Sky Chiefs behind homers from B.J. Upton and Jorge Cantu and fine pitching from Dewon Brazelton. Durham broke out to an early 7-0 lead, before the Sky Chiefs scored their runs in the seventh without the benefit of a hit. Josue Matos started for the Chiefs and was hit hard. The box score was not available at writing.
