Their four-game "slump" behind them, the Jays begin a four-game set with Baltimore tonight in Baltimore. Doug Davis goes for Toronto, and his opponent is Jason Johnson. Reed Johnson gets a day off, Josh Phelps is at DH, Tom Wilson is behind the plate. All zeros after one, but obviously it's unlikely it will stay that way. Enjoy the game.

Cerutti can go on and on about how Hudson chose to "crash" the cather rather than go for the portion of the plate that was open all he wants...When the ball beats the runner to the plate umpires almost always call ya out, regardless of when you're tagged. Crash Fordyce or slide probably wouldn't have mattered.

Boyz, hard to get a word in here tonight, "Shut up, and give me a turn". Vernon Wells gets all the love, but his love/hate affair with taking pitches (in many cases more than one) lives on...

Whats the manager doing? Two pinch hitters in a row? Go on.

And it worked!

My heart be still.
