Eight home runs in the minor league today. Jace Bohrofen hit two, Yeuni Munoz hit one for his third day in a row. Several players got their first home run of the season. All those home runs just earned two wins for the affiliates.

In Buffalo's game one Eric Lauer gave up two runs in five innings, his best start of the year. Dillon Tate struck out two but was taken deep for a solo home run. Jon Clase had two hits in game one.


In game two Christian Bethancourt and Rainer Nunez homered. It was a bullpen game and three of the five pitchers were scored upon. Eric Pardinho was not one of them, he struck out three in his inning but did allow a hit and a walk.


Jace Bohrofen got off to a low start, he was hitting .143 a week ago. He went deep twice on Friday and now has four home runs in his last four days. He is 7 for 14 over those four games and his average is now up to .256. Josh Rivera also homered his first of the season.


Ryan Jennings gave up two runs on a home run, his second not so good appearance in a row.


In Vancouver Juaron Watts-Brown walked a couple of lead off hitters and they both came around to score. He did pitch five innings with five K's but overall it was a shaky start.


Victor Arias hit his first home run of the season. Although it is his first home run he is hitting .306. Arjun Nimmala singled and walked, he is hitting .326.


Austin Cates cruised through four innings for Dunedin, just an error reaching base, with six K's. He did allow two runs in the fifth and was pulled with 70 pitches and 4.2 innings completed. Cates used four pitches and got whiffs with all four, he had 14 whiffs total.


Yeuni Munoz hit his fourth home run, third in as many days. Yhoangel Aponte hit his first home run of the season.


For those of you who like knuckleballs, Jays reliever Bennett Flynn threw 25 of them tonight getting 11 swings and 7 whiffs.
