NOTES
Buffalo used six pitchers and none emerged with flying colours. Andrew Bash started and just went two innings with one run allowed. It was downhill from there with Adrian Hernandez suffering most of all.
Alan Roden and Damiano Palmegiani each had just one hit but each hit was a home run. Josh Kasevich was 3-5 and is hitting .318 after his first week in AAA. Will Robertson doubled twice.
Abdiel Mendoza started and gave up six runs. Nick Fraze, who had been pitching well, was charged with five runs, Dahian Santos four.
Just five hits for the Fisher Cats. Ryan McCarty and Yohendrick Pinango each singled and doubled.
Carson Pierce started for Vancouver but left in the first inning with an injury. The six relievers who followed couldn't stem the tide of runs.
Seven hits for Vancouver, Peyton Williams and Brennan Orf homered. Williams also doubled.
Colby Holcombe, 9th round pick this year, started and went two shutout innings. However Eminem Flores and Julio Ortiz, both recently promoted from the FCL, were shelled.
The Jays did have 14 hits. Carter Cunningham was 3-5 including an inside the park home run. Four of this years draftees Nick Mitchell, Eddie Micheletti, Sean Keys and Brock Tibbets had two hits each.
