Alan Roden has had a rough start to his AAA career. But he had three hits on Saturday with two doubles. The three hits raised his average to .190. Addison Barger had a double and a single.
James Kaprelian took the loss by giving up four runs in four innings.
The Fisher Cats just had three hits, all singles. Trenton Wallace made his first start in a couple of weeks, he went 3.2 innings and was charged with two runs. Dahian Santos is a bullpen pitcher now, he allowed two runs but they were unearned.
Vancouver scored three runs in the fifth inning and held on for the win. In that fifth inning Robert Brooks hit a three run home run. Brooks added a single, Peyton Williams had two doubles and Estiven Machado two singles.
Rafael Sanchez had nine K's in five innings. He was charged with two runs but just one was earned.
Dunedin just had one hit. They won the last two games with three hits so they were two hits short. Arjun Nimmala struck out three times but Joey Votto did it four times. In total the Jays had 16 K's.
