Dunedin Do It Again

Dunedin won on Thursday despite having just three hits in the game. So they decided to do it again on Friday. Three hits is the new guaranteed win night. Unfortunately that was the only positive as the other three teams lost again in a complete repeat of Thursday.

Aaron Sanchez threw five innings with just a solo home run scoring. Yimi Garcia and Eric Pardinho combined to concede two more runs


Will Robertson had a big game going 3-4 with a double. Damiano Palmegiani hit his eleventh home run. Miguel Hiraldo had two hits.


Ryan Jennings was the scheduled starter for New Hampshire per their lineup announcement before the game. But when the game started it was Abdiel Mendoza on the bump. There was no announcement as to what happened. Mendoza took the loss by giving up four runs.


NH did have 12 hits, Gabriel Martinez led the way with three hits including a two run double. Devonte Brown had two hits with the big one being a two run home run. Cade Doughty and Alex De Jesus also had two hits each.


Juaron Watts Brown is still trying to figure out the Northwest League. In five innings he gave up five hits and five walks. he did well to just let Eugene score four runs. The C's had five hits by five different hitters.


Dunedin again had three hits and again they won the game. They were helped by two rehabbing hitters. Joey Votto singled in the first run. Brennan Orf homered for the second and Arjun Nimmala hit a sac fly for the third.


Pitcher Jorge Bautista went eight shutout innings with just two hits off him. It was his best start of the season and lowered his ERA from six and a half to five.
