New Hampshire had just five hits but it was enough to win. Jackson Hornung led Vancouver to a nooner win, their seventh in a row. The FCL Jays had an epic comeback win despite having one hit through eight innings. The DSL Jays have another pitcher to watch. Buffalo lost while Dunedin were rained out.

Buffalo's hunt for good starting pitching continues. Beau Sulser started and gave up nine hits and five runs in 2.2 innings. Later Erik Swanson came in to pitch. He was due to get out of the inning with just a single allowed but an error by Miguel Hiraldo meant the inning continued. A walk and a grand slam led to four runs allowed, all unearned. Eric Pardinho picked up four outs with just a walk.
The Bisons had seven hits, Hiraldo and Rafael Lantigua had two singles each.
Trenton Wallace started and was pulled after four innings and 59 pitches. He was working on a two hit shutout so I am not sure why he was taken out of the game. Four relievers brought it home.
Kekai Rios homered in the third inning for New Hampshire's first run. In the sixth inning Alex De Jesus doubled to score Ryan McCarty and Josh Kasevich both of whom had singled. Those were four of New Hampshire's five hits.
Vancouver scored five runs on seven hits. They did have some help from Hillsboro. Three of their last four runs came from hitters who reached by a walk, an error and by being hit. The C's had three batters hit by a pitch in the last three innings of the game. Jackson Hornung was the hitting star, a single, double and a home run. Jean Arnaez had two hits. Dasan Brown came off the IL and walked twice and struck out three times.
The C's used four pitchers, Carson Pierce started and went 3.2 innings.
The FCL Jays entered the bottom of the ninth inning trailing 3-0 and with just one hit in the game. With one out Kendry Chirinos doubled and Railin Tejada tripled, 3-1. A sac fly made it 3-2 with no one on base and two outs. But the Tigers walked the next two hitters setting the stage for Carlos Vasquez to triple and make it a 4-3 walk off win.
In the DSL the latest Brazilian/Japanese sensation Sann Omosako, age 18, threw six shutout innings. Through four games he has a 0.45 ERA. He has just 17 K's in 20 innings but he is fooling the hitters.
