NOTES

Andrew Bash has been getting better and better. On Saturday he threw 5.1 hitless innings. He struck out eight and walked four.

Buffalo scored two runs in the second inning. Orelvis doubled and Michael Turconi singled. A wild pitch scored one run and a bases loaded walk made it 2-0. The eight inning started tied at two but Connor Cooke issued a walk followed by two doubles and the Bisons were down 4-2 and that's how it finished. Buffalo outhit Worcester 8-4. Orelvis went 3-4.

Trenton Wallace went six innings for the Fisher Cats. He made one big mistake, a two run home run in the fifth. But overall those were the only runs he conceded on four hits. He struck out three. NH got one back in the sixth and another in the seventh to tie the game. Eric Pardinho came on in the ninth and held Richmond off the board in the tenth.

Jimmy Burnette came on for the eleventh and gave up a run on a ground out. In the bottom of the eleventh NH had the tying run at third with no outs but couldn't get a run across. Alex De Jesus and Kekai Rios each had two hits.

Vancouver scored one run in the seventh to tie the game and two more in the eighth for the win. New C's player Jevon Ward in his first game homered in the seventh. Jace Bohrofen hit his fifth home run in the eighth to give the C's the lead. Later Jamari Baylor singled and later scored with a Nick Goodwin single. Goodwin was 2-3 with a walk, Robert Brooks also had two hits.

The starting pitcher was Ryan Jennings who just allowed an unearned run in 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Nolan Perry threw four innings with seven K's for the D Jays. He gave up two hits, one of which was a solo home run. The Jays only run came in the eighth. Following a walk Victor Arias hit a ground rule double and Jean Joseph singled in the run. Those were two of the Jays six hits in the game.

Seven of the FCL hitters picked up a hit. Cade Doughty singled and doubled. Kendry Chirinos, who had a nice game yesterday, singled and tripled. Dahian Santos on rehab threw two innings.
