Addison Barger hit a two run home run in the top of the ninth to get the win for Buffalo. Vancouver split a doubleheader. Both New Hampshire and Dunedin lost. And 5.2 innings was a step too far for a couple of starters.

In a tied game in the ninth inning Addison Barger hit his second home run, a two run shot to help Buffalo win 5-3. Orelvis Martinez had singled before the home run. It was almost a repeat of the seventh inning when Orelvis singled and Barger doubled him home. Earlier Brian Serven, who couldn't hit major league pitching, hit a two run home run in the first inning. Barger was 3-4 with a walk, Orelvis, Nathan Lukes and Serven had two hits each.
Chad Dallas went 5.2 innings and was taken deep three times for three solo home runs. Two of the home runs came after he reached 5.2 innings and led to the end of his appearance. He struck out five.
Adam Macko was a hard luck loser for the Fisher Cats. An error caused an unearned run in the first inning. He pitched well into the sixth when with two outs, back to back doubles scored another run. Hunter Gregory came on in relief and surrendered a home run, leaving Macko with three runs allowed, two earned, in 5.2 innings. He struck out six and is settling well into AA.
Just six hits for the Cats. Michael Turconi had two.
Ryan Jennings started for Vancouver in game one. He threw three shutout innings with just one hit. BUT.....he walked six, left eight runners on base and threw 36 strikes and 38 balls. A throwing error by Jeff Wehler caused a go ahead run to score in the sixth inning, the second last in a doubleheader. The C's had just five hits in the game.
In game two Vancouver led 7-0 before hanging on for a 7-5 win. The offense was evenly distributed with seven hitters getting a hit. Ryan McCarty had two while Nick Goodwin hit a three run home run, his third. Rafael Sanchez went 5.2 innings, allowing four runs, three of which came in the sixth inning.
Dunedin had just four hits, Roque Salinas had two. Arjun Nimmala, off to a slow start, had a double.
Lazaro Estrada, on rehab from Vancouver, threw the first two innings. Carson Pierce followed and took the loss by giving up two runs, one earned, in three innings.
