Will Robertson belted his third homer of the season to put the Herd ahead for good and he added a double and a single for good measure. Spencer Horwitz had two hits and a walk, Addison Barger was 1-for-4 with two RBI and Leo Jiménez drew two walks. Orelvis Martinez had a double. Troy Watson was the winner in relief with two shutout frames, scattering two hits and striking out three. Connor Cooke had the save, punctuating a perfect ninth with a strikeout.

Gabby Martinez had a two-run double as part of a five-run first inning and smacked his first Double-A homer for New Hampshire FC. Alan Roden, Josh Kasevich, Rainer Nuñez and Michael Turconi all had two-hit efforts. Only Nuñez did not draw a base on balls. Alex De Jesús and Zach Britton each had an RBI single and a walk. Trent Palmer posted three no-hit innings, issuing three walks but whiffing five. C.J. Van Eyk got the win, giving up two runs in three innings with two hits allowed, a hit batter and three walks. He also struck out six. Abdiel Mendoza worked around two hits and struck out four over two shutout innings. Jimmy Burnette struck out the side in a spotless ninth.

The C's unveiled their 2023 Northwest League championship pennant and marked the occasion with a win in their home opener, their first of 2024. An RBI double by Brennan Orf and a run-scoring single by Jaden Rudd in the eighth snapped a 3-3 tie as the C's win their first game of 2024 with a home opening win. Nick Goodwin blasted a three-run home run to open the scoring in the third. Jace Bohforen joined Goodwin in the two-hit club. Dasan Brown had a base knock. Chris McElvain made it through four innings with just two hits and two walks on his ledger while striking out two. Alex Amalfi gave up a run in the sixth, Johnathan Lavallee surrendered two more in the sixth but rebounded with a shutout seventh, punching out five batters in total. Justin Kelly struck out the side in the eighth but gave up a run in the ninth before locking it down. The C's took issue with the home plate umpire's strike zone, resulting in pitching coach Austin Bibens-Dirkx getting the heave-ho in the ninth.

Connor O'Halloran had a quality start for the D-Jays. He allowed just two runs allowed (one earned) over five innings on two hits and three walk. while ringing up seven batters. JJ Sanchez and Jerry Huntzinger worked scoreless frames with Carson Pierce putting two bagels in between with four of the seven strikeouts from the relief trio. Yhoangel Apointe had a sacrifice fly, an RBI double and a single. Manuel Beltre had a couple of knocks. Cade Doughty singled and walked before being replaced by Tucker Toman who was 0-for-1. Arjun Nimmala was 0-for-5 but struck out once.
