Addison Barger bashed his ninth homer of the year and threw out a runner at third base from right field for an inning-ending double play. Stevie Beman had the other base knock for the Herd.Rafael Lantigua and Damiano Palmegiani each had a walk. International League Player of the Week Orelivis Martinez went 0-for-4 and Leo Jiménez was 0-for-3. Gabriel Ponce opened the game with two innings of one-run ball that included three walks and four strikeouts. Yosver Zulueta put up two goose eggs, offsetting two walks with four Ks. Adam Cimber worked a scoreless fifth by working around two hits to pick up his second hold, what a milestone! Jimmy Burnette was bombed for five runs, two of them homers, to take the loss. Paul Fry punched out four in 1-2/3 innings and Brandon Eisert rung up two in 1-1/3.
