Hyun Jin Ryu pitched on rehab with Buffalo and pitched well. Buffalo, and Ryu, got the win. New Hampshire played into the ninth before the rains came. The game will be finished on Saturday. Vancouver won a bullpen game. Brandon Barriera was excellent for Dunedin but the Jays lost. Ricky Tiedemann pitched in the FSL. Enmanuel Bonilla had a big game in the DSL.

Hyun Jin Ryu made a rehab start in Buffalo. He was generally very good, just three hits and one walk allowed. he had five K's. The one negative was that two of the hits were solo home runs. Yosver Zulueta pitched an inning and didn't walk anyone. Hagen Danner pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for the save. That included retiring Syracuse's two big bats, Ronny Mauricio and Luke Voit.
Syracuse helped the Bisons offense to get going. The first run scored on an error, the second on a hit batter. Spencer Horwitz singled in the third, he ended the night 2-4. Otto Lopez doubled in the fourth run. Orelvis was 0-4 and is now 2-14 in AAA. On the positive side he has only struck out twice, but he hasn't walked in AAA yet. He is still getting used to the AAA pitchers.
For NH Chad Dallas had a stinker, six runs allowed in . It was his second stinker in a row, but he last pitched July 4th so that might have something to do with it. Dallas has made nine starts for NH. In five of them he has allowed one or zero runs. In the other four "stinkers" it has been five or six. I am not sure why but as the poem goes, when he is good he is really, really good and when he is bad he is horrid.
New Hampshire scored four runs in the ninth to tie the game before rain stopped play. It might have been due to the rain but those four runs came via two hit batters, two walks, catchers interference and a couple of hits. Steward Berroa was the hitting star, 4-4 with his 34th stolen base.
For Vancouver, Devonte Brown was 3-4, including his tenth home run. Michael Turconi had two hits. The C's used five pitchers in a bullpen game.
Brandon Barriera threw three perfect innings as he returned to the mound. Rafael Ohashi followed and allowed two runs. One of them scored on a balk and the other a steal of home.
Dunedin had five hits, Abiezel Ramirez and Jean Arnaez had two each which doesn't help the team bunch hits to score runs.
Ricky Tiedemann made a start in the FCL, just two innings, three K's, no hits or walks.
In the DSL top prospect there Enmanuel Bonilla went 5-6 with a double. That bumped his average 30 points up to .292.
