There were some pitching woes on the farm Thursday. Mitch White, Jimmy Burnette, Chad Dallas, TJ Brock all had their problems. Vancouver had good pitching and picked up the only win. On the hitting side, Orelvis was the bright spot, he had three hits including a home run. Peyton Williams hit his first home run in high A.

NOTES
Mitch White was bad again, he just can't pitch well. This was his third start in a row where he has given up five runs. You wonder if anyone would claim him now if he was waived. Jimmy Burnette had two good appearances after he was promoted from AA. Today was his second bad one in a row. In this game he allowed three runs. Thomas Hatch actually started and he pitched well over three innings.
In AA, Chad Dallas had trouble hitting the zone. He walked six in 4.1 innings. He struck out just two and was charged with five runs. TJ Brock came on later to make his AA debut and to say it didn't go well would be an understatement. He hit the first batter, then threw a wild pitch, followed by a single, before getting out of the inning. He came out for the next inning, gave up a couple of hits, followed by back to back home runs. It can only get better from here.
Sebastian Espino, a hit or miss hitter, connected for a three run home run. Orelvis hit his 15th, a solo shot. He also made his tenth error, singled, doubled and walked. That's a 3-4 night, with a walk. Rainer Nunez was 2-4 and drove in two runs. He is 22 years old in AA, that's good, but he is almost a year older than Orelvis. PK Morris also had two hits.
Three Vancouver pitchers combined on a three hit shutout. Trenton Wallace went five innings, two hits, one walk, three K's. Eric Pardinho added two shutout innings.
Peyton Williams got the scoring started with his first home run. It was his only hit. Garrett Spain added a two run shot and later single in another run. He was 3-4. Alex De Jesus was also 3-4.
Pat Gallagher made his first start of the season for Dunedin. He gave up two runs in four innings. Sammy Hernandez's homer accounted for the Jays only run. He was 2-4.
Paul Fry, who has been one of the most reliable pitchers out of Buffalo's bullpen, has gone on the IL. Wes Parsons has joined the Bisons as his replacement.
