Sometimes players are called into situations. Devereaux Harrison was used to pitching one or sometimes two innings in the Vancouver bullpen. Until today. The C's needed a spot start and he got it. He delivered a five inning, one hitter, to set Vancouver up for a win. Buffalo's hitters were at it again, 16 hits and an easy win. New Hampshire split a doubleheader while Dunedin were thumped by Tampa.

NOTES
Sixteen hits for the Bisons. Eight of the nine starters had a hit, and seven an RBI. Davis Schneider homered again, had two hits and drove in three. Tanner Morris and Wynton Bernard had three hits each. Morris is hitting .333 in May with a .400 OBP. He still doesn't have much power though.
Drew Hutchison had his best start of the year, five innings, nine strikeouts, one run allowed on three hits. Hayden Juenger gave up a couple of runs. He has a 1.78 WHIP this season. Juenger strikes out plenty of hitters, 34 in 24.2 innings, but he also gives up a lot of hits, 34 as well.
New Hampshire had a couple of notable pitching failures in their first game. Hagen Danner gave up a run in the sixth with a couple of ground ball singles and two more in the seventh. The joint closer, Troy Watson came into the game in the eighth and promptly walked two to load the bases. All three runners scored with a couple of singles.
Also in game one Orelvis hit his twelfth homer and walked twice. Will Robertson doubled twice and drove in three runs.
Jimmy Robbins had walk trouble in game two. He walked seven in three innings. Jimmy Burnette, the other closer, threw a 10 pitch, two strikeout, ninth to seal the win.
New Hampshire scored ten runs on six hits in game two. The big blow was a grand slam from Trevor Schwecke. PK Morris hit his first of the season in the sixth inning, a three run shot. Dylan Rock had a two run homer in the fifth.
Devereaux Harrison has pitched one or two innings in relief this season. But he was called on to start for Vancouver on Sunday. He was outstanding, five innings, one hit, no walks, six strikeouts. He only needed 53 pitches.
Cade Doughty had the big, game winning hit, a two run single in the seventh. Josh Kasevich was 3-4 and has pushed his average over .300.
Dunedin had only three hits and were blown out. Ryan Jennings had a rough start, he gave up six runs in 1.1 innings.
