Buffalo won a rain shortened game to run their win streak to eleven games, a club record. Spencer Horwitz extended his hit streak to 27 games, a league record, and Vancouver won easily. Horwitz had to share the spotlight with Phil Clarke who drove in eight runs. Dunedin's game was also rain affected and was suspended. New Hampshire will not play again this week due to COVID. Gabriel Moreno returned, to the FCL, and helped Kendry Rojas strike out eleven in four innings.

Syracuse 4 Buffalo 6 - 6 innings

New Hampshire at Reading - cancelled

Spokane 5 Vancouver 14

Dunedin 5 Tampa 0 - game suspended in the 4th inning

FCL Yankees 9 FCL Blue Jays 6

This is what I noted from yesterday's games.

Rain stopped the Buffalo game in the sixth inning. By then Logan Warmoth had hit a two run home run and Tyler White added a three run shot. Gregory Polanco has not started well with the Jays, after another oh-for, he is hitting .185.

Casey Lawrence pitched well over five innings. It was Curtis Taylor who allowed a three run home run to make it a closer game.

The C's had 13 hits, concentrated at the top of the order. Zac Cook, in the lead off spot, was 3-3 with three runs scored and two RBI. He also walked. All three of his hits were doubles. Spencer Horwitz was 2-4 and he too scored three runs. Phil Clarke homered, a three run shot, doubled twice and in total drove in eight runs. Rafael Lantigua scored four runs, drove in two, and was 2-3. That's a lot of hitting.

Andrew Bash started and went five innings to get the win.

Mac Mueller and Miguel Hiraldo homered before the rains came. Michael Dominguez pitched three plus innings but had runners on second and third with no outs when the game was suspended.

Gabriel Moreno played in the FCL on a rehab assignment, he went 3-3 with a double. Rikelbin De Castro drove in two runs with two hits. 18 year old Cuban defector Kendry Rojas struck out eleven in four innings. For the season he has 34 K's in 20.2 innings and a 0.92 WHIP.
