It's the home opener, in Florida. The Angels come in to play four games. The Jays have been very hit and miss so far, what will this series bring?
One of the big things to watch for in this series is how will the park play? The park has never been used for regular season play. What will Mike Trout, Shohei Otani or Vlad Guerrero do in this park? Or to put it another way, what will be the effect on Ross Stripling or Tanner Roark?
George Springer will not feature in this homestand. Nate Pearson threw a bullpen today and is starting his spring training again. Robbie Ray is ready to pitch, he will likely start before Ryu starts again to give Ryu and the other starters that extra day off.
Thursday, 7.07pm, Griffin Canning vs. Ross Stripling
Friday, 7.07pm, Andrew Heaney vs. TJ Zeuch
Saturday, 7.07pm, TBD vs. Stephen Matz
Sunday, 1.07pm, TBD vs. TBD (Tanner Roark)
The Angels have a couple of TBD's listed as starters. Will the Jays face Shohei Otani in this series? Can the Jays win this series? Let's see.
Friday update: Jose Quintana and Alex Cobb will start Saturday and Sunday.
