Not 100% official but with the amount of smoke I think we have someone taking the Jays money at last.
- 3 Time All-Star (2017-2019) who hit 265/359/540 last year for a 140 OPS+ thus probably would've been an All-Star again if the game happened.
- Entering his age 31 season with a 131 lifetime OPS+, 27.5 bWAR lifetime.
- Top annual figures - 6.4 WAR (2019) was on pace for 5.9 last year. 39 HR in 2019, 88 walks in 2016, 178 K's that same year but more common figures are 60's for walks, 110's for K's. 292 average is his best, 383 OBP, 591 Slg% (all in 2019)
- His defensive WAR is positive overall at 1.3, His UZR/150 is 2.9 lifetime in CF, -4 last year, 12.4 in 2019 but that appears to be a fluky number as does his negative last year - I'd trust his career figures most - a solid guy in CF, but no Devon White.
Next big question is which outfielder do the Jays trade and for what. Plus of course, do they have enough in the pocket book to go after Bauer or Realmuto still?
Update:
