Orelvis Leaves The Building Twice, Pearson Denied 1st AAA Win

Nate Pearson punked the Red Wings with seven shutout innings of three-hit ball with three strikeouts and seven groundouts. He was in line for the win before the Wings punked Ty Tice for four runs in the eighth. Pearson reportedly hit 99 miles per hour on the radar gun three times.
Patrick Kivlehan homered for the 26th time this year. Forrest Wall doubled twice in his second game with the Herd.
New Hampshire 7 Trenton 2
Cullen Large had a triple, a single, a hit by pitch and three RBI to push his OPS to .821. Nash Knight, Christian Williams and Chad Spanberger all had two hit games with Knight doubling and Williams tripling. Vinhy Capra singled, walked and stole his 14th base. Logan Warmoth's woes continue as he is down to .183 after going 0-for-3.
Yennsy Diaz lasted seven innings and yielded two runs on seven hits and a walk. He struck out two and induced nine outs on the ground to improve to 10-8. Danny Young got his third save with two punchouts over two innings.
Dunedin 4 Daytona 3
A solo shot by Demi Orimoloye (10) and a three-run bomb by Kacy Clemens (9) provided all the Dunedin runs. Reggie Pruitt hit his second FSL triple and threw out a runner at home from center field. Ryan Noda doubled for the 25th time this season.
Ryan Tepera opened this one with a walk and a strikeout over a scoreless frame. Nick Allgeyer imiproved to 10-5 by pitching five innings of two-run ball, giving up three hits and three walks while striking out four. Jackson Rees had his fifth save to drop his ERA to 0.85.
Dayton 7 Lansing 2
Yorman Rodriguez continues to swing it for the Lugnuts as he picked up two more hits to boost his average to .386. L.J. Talley also had two hits but is one point away from the Mendoza Line. Gabriel Moreno and Hunter Steinmetz had doubles. Tanner Kirwer had a hit and stole two bases to make 14-for-16 on the year. Otto Lopez was 0-for-5.
Troy Watson took the loss with three runs allowed over five frames. Brody Rodning gave up a run in the sixth and Josh Hiatt was jolted for three more (two earned) over the final three innings.
Tri-City 4 Vancouver 2
Alek Manoah took the loss after allowing three runs in the first. He gave up five hits and a walk but he struck out five over four innings.
Will Robertson had the lone hit. Bases-loaded walks by Robertson and Ronny Brito in the ninth brought in the only runs. Brito had two free passes.
Bristol 10 Bluefield 0
Davis Schneider and Scotty Bradley had two hits apiece with Schneider swatting his 12th double.
Felipe Castenada was flipped off for six runs over his one-inning start. Kyle Huckaby had a shutout frame.
GCL Blue Jays 10 GCL Tigers West 6
Orelvis Martinez drove in three runs with his two dingers as part of a three-hit day where he also took one for the team. He has four multi-hit games over his last 10. Alberto Rodriguez went 3-for-5 and stole a base. He is one point shy of .300.
Winder Garcia got his first GCL win with five innings of one-run ball. He scattered three hits and a walk while whiffing five.
DSL Blue Jays 4 DSL Diamondbacks1 0
Daniel Oliva and Leonel Callez both went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Bejardi Meza limited the Snakes to five singles and struck out four over seven innings to get the win. Jose Quintana issued two walks but got the two-inning save.
