Richard Urena is hitting .316 over the last 10 games after a 2-for-5 night with two RBI. Jonathan Davis has an eight-game hit streak and is batting .333 over his last 10 contests.

T.J. Zeuch lasted seven innings, giving up three runs on five hits, a walk and two hit by pitches. Kirby Snead got the win with a shutout eight. Zach Jackson was zapped for two runs in the ninth but got the save.


South Bend 17 Lansing 8

Otto Lopez was 3-for-5 and Jake Brodt cracked his 12th homer of the year and drew a walk. Gabriel Moreno, Griffin Conine and Ryan Gold had two hits apiece. Moreno is batting .308 and Conine struck out twice to give him 83 whiffs in 50 games.

Juan DePaula was plunked for 11 runs in 3-1/3 innings. Andy McGuire enjoyed his first scoreless appearance in the Midwest League since his recent promotion from Vancouver.


Boise 11 Vancouver 9

Trevor Schwecke had three hits while Yorman Rodriguez and Will Robertson had two apiece, the latter two extending their hit streaks to nine games apiece.

Gabriel Ponce and Nicolas Medina gave up two dingers each.


GCL Yankees West 4 GCL Blue Jays 2

2019 third round pick Dasan Brown had three hits in his first nine pro-bats, all of them for extra-bases that included his second triple. The Oakville, Ontario native also drew a walk.

2019 second rounder Kendall Williams walked three but offset that with five Ks over two shutout innings.


DSL Reds 9 DSL Blue Jays 3

Francisco Fajardo went 2-for-4 with a walk and stole three bases. He is batting .301 on the season.
