Buffalo 10 Pawtucket 5 (7 Innings - Final)

The Herd bunched up their runs in the first four innings to pound the Paw Sox. A two-run double by Lourdes Gurriel Jr., a run-scoring base hit by Jonathan Davis and a two-run homer by Cavan Biggio were the big hits in the first three frames before the Bisons busted it open with a five-run fourth. Gurriel singled in another run, Richard Urena doubled home two more and Michael De La Cruz singled home the other two. Every Bison hitter reached base at least once with only Reese McGuire finishing hitless but he did draw a walk. Davis and Roemon Fields had three hits apiece.

Sean Reid-Foley scuffled in this one, surrendering four runs (two earned) in four innings. He served up two solo homers among six hits and walked five. William Ouellette picked up the win in his Triple-A debut, giving up only a solo home run over three innings. He struck out one and induced six groundball outs.

The Bisons were to play a doubleheader Monday but will try to get two in later today.

Trenton 6 New Hampshire 1

The Fisher Cats are a game below .500 after losing to the Yankees affiliate. Hector Perez had no control in this one, issuing six walks that led to six runs over 2-2/3 innings. Perez gave up four hits and struck out three. Trenton also ran wild on Perez by stealing five bases. Jonathan Cheshire allowed an inherited run to score but he blanked Trenton over 3-1/3 innings of one-hit ball, striking out three. Danny Young and Kriby Snead contributed a goose egg apiece.

New Hampshire's only run came in the third when Vinny Capra reached on an error, made it to second on a Forrest Wall bunt single and raced the other 180 feet on a wild pitch.Wall had two hits and two walks and earned an assist in center field. Kevin Smith had two knocks and a free pass. Santiago Espinal, Alberto Mineo and Kacy Clemens had the other Fisher Cat hits. Brock Lundquist walked three times.
