The Giants snapped a four-game losing streak by winning in Pittsburgh Sunday and are 2-4 on the current road trip that wraps up on Wednesday. San Francisco finds itself in the basement of the National League West at 9-14. Kevin Pillar leads the Giants in runs scored (10), home runs (4), runs batted in (13) and stolen bases (3). Former Jays farmhand Travis Bergen has a 7.11 ERA but is 2-0 and has recorded seven scoreless appearances in nine tries. Other former Jays include Yangervis Solarte (.205, 0 HR, 3 RBI) and Erik Kratz (.136, 0 HR, 2 RBI). Also on the roster is another former Jays farmhand who gave up the glorious bat-flip home run to Jose Bautista.

The Blue Jays swept the A's in three straight to complete a 6-1 road trip to pull to within a game of .500 at 11-12. Unfortunately, they lost Matt Shoemaker for the year with a torn ACL and may be without Aaron Sanchez who continues to have fingernail issues.
