The Astros recently reeled off an 11-game winning streak and have taken four of six on this homestand after winning two of three from Tampa Bay and Kansas City. Houston enjoys a 4-1/2 game lead over Seattle in the AL West on a 52-27 record.

The Blue Jays salvaged a split in Anaheim by taking the last two games against the Angels. Their 36-41 record leaves them in fourth place in the AL East, 15 games behind the juggernauts.

On Deck - The Jays have a day off Thursday before returning home to face Detroit.
