Borucki & Zeuch Go Seven As Affiliates Win Seven

The #BlueJays affiliates posted a 7-2 record Tuesday. Lansing had the night off save for the four Lugnuts who played in the Midwest League All-Star Game.
Buffalo 4 Pawtucket 0 (Game 1- 7 Innings)
Steve Pearce hit a three-run home run in the first to give the Bisons all the runs they would need. Danny Jansen doubled, singled and walked while Richard Urena had a two-hit effort.
Ryan Borucki went the distance on a three-hitter, walking one and striking out four to finish with a Game Score of 78.
Pawtucket 6 Buffalo 0 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)
The Herd had just four hits = all singles from Richard Urena, Rowdy Tellez, Jason Leblebijian and Reese McGuire. Dwight Smith Jr. drew the only free pass.
Murphy Smith gave up five runs over 3-1/3 innings on seven hits and two walks, striking out nobody. Conor Fisk pitched 2-2/3 innings and allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk. He had one strikeout.
New Hampshire 5 Erie 3 (Game 1- 8 Innings)
A two-run single by Cavan Biggio provided the winning margin for New Hampshire FC. Jon Berti had a three-hit game and drove in two runs while Gunnar Heidt went 2-for-3 with an RBI double. Bo Bichette was 0-for-3 with a walk.
Jordan Romano gave up two runs and matched five hits with five strikeouts over five innings without walking anyone. Danny Young blew the save by giving up three runs in two innings but got the win. Dusty Isaacs struck out two in a perfect inning for the save.
New Hampshire 5 Erie 4 (Game 2 - 10 Innings)
A sacrifice fly by Gunnar Heidt brought home Cavan Biggio with the winning run. The Fisher Cats won this game despite getting all of three hits. Andrew Guillotte had the big blast with his first homer of the season. Bo Bichette singled and walked and Jonathan Davis had the other knock.
T.J. Zeuch had just two unearned runs on his ledger on seven hits with tallying a K/BB total of 7-0. Of his 14 outs in play, 12 were on the ground. Zeuch was in line for the win but Travis Bergen was victimized for two unearned runs in the eighth and ninth. Kirby Snead walked one and struck out one in the 10th for the save.
Dunedin 7 St. Lucie 3
The D-Jays got long balls from Kacy Clemens, John La Prise and Kevin Smith to win their third straight over the Mets. Clemens, Josh Palacios and Rodrigo Orozco posted a '1' in the hit and walk columns. Riley Adams had a double.
Patrick Murphy gave up only one hit over four innings but walked six batters which resulted in two runs. He struck out five with a groundout total of six. Andy Ravel struck out two but allowed two runs in two innings. Jonathan Cheshire pitched 2-1/3 shutout innings of two-hit ball, striking out four to get the win. He needed help from Jake Fishman as he stranded two by striking out the only two men he faced to get the save.
Kevin Vicuna was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Chavez Young was 0-for-4. Maximo Castillo pitched a scoreless frame as he offset two hits with two strikeouts and Dany Jimenez struck out the only batter he faced.

Bluefield 9 Johnson City 8
D.J. Daniels walked it off with an RBI single to complete a two-run rally to give the Bluef-Jays a win on opening night. John Aiello set the stage for Daniels with an RBI knock of his own to tie the game in the ninth. Luis De Los Santos hit a two-run home run as part of a three-hit ninth. Daniels and D.J. Neal both had two hits apiece with Neal and Hunter Steinmetz stealing bases. Jose Theran had a double.
Alvaro Galindo was gonged for five runs over 4-1/3 innings, giving up two home runs. Joe DiBenedetto struck out the only two batters he faced to end the fifth. Jose Almonte struck out one in a perfect sixth and Adams Cuevas put up a scoreless seventh. Mike Pascoe gave up a run on a hit but struck out three. Sean Rackoski got the win even though he was rocked for a run on two hits. He struck out a pair.
GCL Tigers West 12 GCL Blue Jays 11
The Jays rallied to take the lead after being down 10-4 but they suffered a walk-off loss. Cal Stevenson had two hits and three walks atop of the order while Troy Squires singled twice and walked twice. Hector Guerrero had two singles, a walk and two RBI. Jordan Groshans reached base three times with a base hit and two bases on balls while knocking home a run.
Matt Tracy started and gave up a run over one inning. Emanuel Vizcaino was eviscerated for five runs over three frames. Brennan Price paid the price by giving up four runs over 1-2/3 innings. Luis Alvarez put together 2-1/3 scoreless frames but Gage Burland gave up the tying and winning runs over 2/3 of an inning.
DSL Blue Jays 3 DSL White Sox 2
Miguel Hiraldo had two hits, was hit by a pitch, drove in a run and stole a base to help the Dom-Jays pull this one out. Alberto Rivas walked once but stole three bases.Jhon Solarte singled, walked and stole a base. Kenny Mauricio walked twice and pilfered a bag.
Ronald Govea struck out three over four scoreless frames of three-hit ball. Franniel Polanco got the win with 2-2/3 innings of one-run ball. Christian Reyes struck out three of the four men he faced in 1-1/3 perfect frames. Miguel Olivo gave up a run in the ninth but got the save.
