The #BlueJays affiliates won four of six games Tuesday, including a near no-hit bid.

Lehigh Valley 2 Buffalo 0 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)

Two runs off Nick Tepesch in the first was all the IronPigs needed. Tepesch lasted five innings and scattered three hits and a walk while striking out two. His strikeout total was two and his groundout total was eight. Conor Fisk finished up with a clean sixth that included a punchout.

Danny Jansen singled and was plunked twice. Darnell Sweeney singled and walked. Dwight Smith Jr. had a double while Roemon Fields and Jason Leblebijian singled. Rowdy Tellez walked but Anthony Alford and Lourdes Gourriel Jr. were hitless in their three at-bats.

Buffalo 9 Lehigh Valley 2 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)

A two-run homer by Reese McGuire, an RBI triple by Ian Parmley and a run-scoring single by Roemon Fields in the second inning gave the Herd all they would need for the split. Rowdy Tellez had a three-hit night that included a home run and three RBI. Jason Leblebijian had a two-hit game and stolen base. McGuire and Fields had two hits apiece with Fields stealing a base. He was also caught stealing and is 13-for-22 in that department.

Luis Santos allowed two runs (one earned) over four innings but the win went to Justin Shafer who retired all four hitters he faced. Jake Petricka got two outs and Dusty Isaacs got the final three.

New Hampshire 6 Akron 1

A two-run homer by Bo Bichette in the fourth inning and a bases-loaded triple by Jon Berti in the fifth were the big blasts in this one. Bichette also had a sacrifice fly while Berti walked and stole a base. Jonathan Davis singled and walked and Andrew Guillotte earned two bases on balls.

The bigger story was the start turned in by Jon Harris. He walked just one batter and no-hit the Rubber Ducks through six frames. He struck out six and produced five outs on the dirt. Danny Young gave up the only hit and run in the seventh. The Canadian duo of Brayden Bouchey and Andrew Case struck out two and walked one in their shutout frames.

Dunedin 2 Charlotte 1

Alberto Mineo doubled home the first run of the game and singled home the last run with a walk-off single to score Kevin Smith after his second hit of the ninth.

Despite 10 hits and one walk, Patrick Murphy made it through seven innings by racking up seven strikeouts and inducing eight outs on the grass. Josh Palacios helped Murphy out by throwing out a runner at third from center to end the sixth. Connor Eller worked a one-hit eighth and Ty Tice got away with two walks in the ninth for the win.

Lake County 6 Lansing 5 (10 Innings)

The playoff-bound Lugnuts came back from 2-0 and 3-2 deficits but could not hold on. Ryan Noda had a two-hit night that included a home run and Samad Taylor went deep and drew a walk. Kevin Vicuna had two base hits and a base on balls and Brandon Grudzielanek added a pair to the hit column. Brock Lundquist was 0-for-5 but threw out a runner at home plate from right field.

Turner Larkins lasted two just innings as he was roughed up for three runs on seven hits and two walks in just two innings. Andrew Deramo went three innings and gave up a solo homer. Dany Jimenez was dinged for a run but struck out three in two innings. Brody Rodning took the loss despite four K's in 2-2/3 innings. Claudio Custodio coughed up the walk-off hit to the only batter he faced.

DSL Blue Jays 10 DSL Orioles 0

Miguel Hiraldo was 2-for-4 with a double and three runs scored. Erickvi Celedonio had the other two-hit game.

Four pitchers combined on a three-hitter with Brayan Meijia getting the win thanks to four innings of two-hit ball.
