Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette have been promoted to High A.
Buffalo Bisons
Cesar Valdez pitched seven shut-out innings, but all was for not as the bullpen was unable to hang on two separate occasions. J.P. Howell pitched a shutout inning. The Bisons lost 4-3 in eleven innings.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats
Another come from behind lost. The Boston affiliate scored four runs in the ninth by way of a walk-off grand-slam. Tim Lopes had four hits and Conner Greene pitched seven innings of three-run baseball. None of Greene’s outs were recorded by fly-ball—all ground balls and strikeouts.
Dunedin Blue Jays
Angel Perdomo had a rough one. He pitched just two innings and allowed seven runs (six earned) on three walks and three strikeouts. Dunedin as noted yesterday will be getting reinforcements soon as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette will be joining the High-A squad shortly.
Lansing Lugnuts
In the aforementioned Guerrero Jr. and Bichette’s last game in Lansing, Guerrero Jr. homered and Bichette singled and walked twice. They will both be heading to the Futures Game as part of the All-Star festivities. Do the Jays promote Kevin Vicuna? Little surprised Logan Warmoth has started in the GCL.
Vancouver Canadians
Wilfri Aleton pitched five shutout innings out of the pen for the Canadians
Bluefield Blue Jays
Ryan Noda is off to a heck of a start. He had three hits including two doubles last night. He’s hitting at an even .500 clip. Maximo Castillo pitched five innings of one run baseball.
GCL Blue Jays
Logan Warmoth was held hitless in five trips. He kicked a ball as well in the field. Not a great start for the first rounder, but well too early for any judgment.
DSL Blue Jays
Naswell Paulino struck out nine in four and two-thirds. Very nice.
