The Dunedin Blue Jays are one loss away from the end of their season.

Tampa 2 Dunedin 1 (13 Innings)

Dunedin, FL
- Luis Santos got the Game 1 start for the D-Jays and he brought his A-game to the hill. Unfortunately, the bats did not. He held the Yankees to a run on four hits, a walk and a hit by pitch over eight innings. He struck out 10 and induced seven groundball outs for a Game Score of 85. Dusty Isaacs struck out four more over two shutout frames in which he walked just one batter. Chris Rowley (0-1) contributed two more shutout innings but gave up the go-ahead run on a single and a Gleyber Torres double in the 13th inning. Rowley allowed four hits and a walk and struck out four.

The Jays matched the Yankees' run in the their half of the third when D.J. Davis doubled and scored on an Anthony Alford base hit. Dunedin had a chance to take the lead in the seventh when Ryan McBroom drew a walk to start the seventh. He was thrown out trying to steal second and of course, Max Pentecost followed with a triple but Dickie Joe Thon and Danny Jansen both struck out. Jonathan Davis walked to begin the 12th and stole second base. However, he tried to steal third and was gunned down. Alford and D.J. Davis had a hit and a walk. Jorge Flores singled and stole a base. John La Prise and Danny Jansen were both 0-for-5.
