Charlotte, NC - The Bisons failed to reach the .500 mark as they were blanked by the White Sox affiliate. Chris Leroux (8-10, 4.28) served up a two-run first-inning home run to Avisail Garcia but exceeded the quality start guidelines by two outs, allowing three runs on nine hits and three walks over 6-2/3 innings. He struck out three and had eight groundball outs. Chad Girodo stranded a runner for Leroux with a strikeout to end the seventh. He got the first two outs of the eighth and left a single for Bo Schultz, who stranded that runner by recording the final out.
Domonic Brown got the only extra-base for Buffalo with a double. A.J. Jimenez singled and threw out two runners trying to steal second. Matt Dominguez, Jesus Montero and Alexi Casilla had the other hits. Dalton Pompey walked and stole his 17th base. Chris Colabello, Junior Lake and Andy Burns were a combined 0-for-11.

Portland, ME - The good Conner Greene (5-5, 4.45) showed up in this one. He shut down the Red Sox affiliate on three hits, two walks and two hit by pitches over seven frames. Greene rung up Yoan Moncada to start the game but that turned out to be his only strikeout. Charlie Sheen's buddy retired the first seven hitters in a row and eight of nine in another stretch. He induced nine groundball outs for a Game Score of 73. Murphy Smith got away with a hit and a walk to post two shutout innings, striking out one for his fourth save. Derrick Loveless tripled in the first two Fisher Cat runs in the third, plating a Rowdy Tellez base hit and a Reese McGuire walk. Dwight Smith Jr. socked his 12th homer of the season to increase the New Hampshire lead to three. Ryan Lavarnway went deep for another solo shot in the ninth. Loveless had the lone two-hit game for New Hampshire. Roemon Fields singled and stole his 40th base.

Dayton, OH - The Lugnuts blew a 10-3 lead as the Reds scored all of their runs over the final four frames to walk this one off. Josh DeGraaf blanked the Dragons over the first five innings but was dinged for three runs in the sixth. He gave up five hits and walked one while ringing up seven batters and getting five outs on the grass. Griffin Glaude, called up from Vancouver, was gonged for five runs on six hits over two-thirds of an inning that included one strikeout. The #2 pick in the draft, Nick Senzel, struck the key blow off Glaude with a three-run double. Dan Lietz (6-2) stranded a runner for Glaude with a strikeout to end the seventh but was lit up for a run in the eighth and two more in the ninth on four hits, a walk and a hit by pitch. Lietz struck out four over two innings.
Lansing strung together four runs after the first two outs of the game. Ryan Hissey doubled home a Juan Kelly walk before scoring on a double by Lane Thomas. Connor Panas singled home another run before getting walked in by J.C. Cardenas. When Dayton closed to within 4-3, the Lugnuts responded with six runs in the seventh. A Kelly hit by pitch with the bases loaded got things started. A Hissey sac fly, a Thomas single and a Justin Atkinson fly ball highlighted the inning. Hissey and Thomas had two hits with Thomas drawing a walk. Andrew Guillotte was 1-for-5.

Christian Williams hit his fourth homer of the season for Vancouver Monday.
Vancouver, BC - The C's fought back from 2-0 and 5-3 deficits to win a wild one against the Rockies affiliate. Vancouver batted around in the first and scored three times without a base hit. Rodrigo Orozco and Bryan Lizardo both drew walks and moved up on a wild pitch. Joshua Palacios reached on a fielder's choice that resulted in a rundown with Orozco between third and home. However, Orozco was awarded home plate after the Hawks catcher was called for baserunner interference. Yeltsin Gudino reached on an error at third and that scored Lizardo with the second run while moving Palacios to third. The Hawks pulled starter Robert Tyler at that point after Vancouver drove up his pitch count. A wild pitch from Boise reliever Jared Gesell that did not stray all that far from home plate still resulted in a run as Palacios took off and scored standing up to put the C's ahead. Lizardo would tie the game for Vancouver with a two-run single in the sixth. The C's went ahead on a "home run" by Christian Williams that was aided by the glove of Steven Linkous, who misplayed the ball and knocked it over the short fence in left field. Palacios extended his hit-streak to 13 games and on-base to 26 with a single in the ninth to cash in a Deiferson Barreto base hit. Williams and Barreto both had two hits with Williams drawing a walk. Gudino and LIzardo were 1-for-2 with a couple of free passes. Orozco singled and walked while Javier Hernandez singled and took one for the team while picking off a runner at first from behind the plate. Jacob Anderson and Nash Knight were 0-for-4.
Nate Abel earned his first victory in a Vancouver uniform by striking out seven batters in relief.
Dalton Rodriguez scuffled through 4-1/3 innings, getting ripped for five runs (four earned) on five hits and five walks. He uncorked two wild pitches but struck out three. Nate Abel (1-2) could only strand one of two runners for Rodriguez but grounded the Hawks for 3-2/3 shutout frames on two hits and two walks while striking out seven. Nick Hartman was nicked for a run on two hits in the ninth but hung in there to get his third save.
Bluefield 9 Danville 1
Danville, VA - The Jays got the early lead on a Vladimir Guerrero Jr. RBI single in the first and after getting another run in the second, they exploded for four more in the third. Guerrero was at the plate when a wild pitch scored a run and then he drove in another with his second base hit of the game. Bradley Jones then launched his 11th homer of the season to score Guerrero. Bradley Jones doubled and scored in the sixth on a Levi Scott fly ball. Guerrero had an RBI groundout to cash in a Lance Jones triple in the seventh. Lance Jones doubled home a Juandy Mendoza two-bagger for the final run in the ninth. Mendoza was 3-for-5 while the Joneses got aboard three times apiece by adding a walk. Bradley Jones picked up a couple of stolen bases.Jose Espada held the Braves to two hits and three walks over 5-2/3 shutout innings. He struck out two but needed Brayden Bouchey to get the final out of the sixth to strand a pair of runners. Espada had eight groundball outs to finish with a Game Score of 66. Bouchey gave up two hits and walked two batters over 1-1/3 scoreless innings. Christian Cox put up a zero in the eighth but coughed up a run in the ninth on two hits while whiffing a pair.
GCL Braves 5 GCL Blue Jays 1
Dunedin, FL - Maximo Castillo (1-3, 5.03) conceded two third-inning runs but put up zeros in his other four frames. The Braves got three hits and a walk against Castillo and struck out twice. Mitch McKown was torched for a three-run home run, giving up another hit, hitting a batter and walking two in the sixth. Orlando Pascual gave up a double but nothing more, punching out three over two innings. Richard Reina got through the ninth without incident.
The G-Jays did not score until the seventh when Jesus Navarro reached on a two-out error by the pitcher and moved into scoring position on a Chavez Young walk before scoring on an Alfredo Bohorquez base hit. Navarro had the lone extra-base hit with a double. David Jacob, Ryan Gold and Kevin Vicuna all came up with singles. Jacob took one for the team. Francisco Rodriguez drew a walk.
DSL Blue Jays 11 DSL Reds 0 (6 Innings - Final)
Boca Chica, DR - Mother Nature decided to invoke the Mercy Rule on the Reds as this game was called after six innings due to rain. McGregory Contreras scored the only run the Jays would need after tripling and coming home on an Andres Guerra single in the second. Guerra had another RBI single and Anderson Green drove in two more with a base hit to put a capper on a four-run third. Aldo Ovando doubled home a Yhordegny Kelly single to start the fourth before coming home on an Antonio Concepion base knock as part of a three-run frame. A bases-loaded walk by Sam Buelens, a sacrifice fly by Jose Theran and a Kelly RBI single accounted for the final three runs in the sixth. Kelly had a three-hit day while Ovando and Guerra had two apiece and they reached base three times with a hit by pitch and a walk respectively. Contreras and Yeison Estevez also got aboard three times with a hit and two walks. Theran had a hit and was also hit by a pitch. Buelens also had a base hit to give every Jay at least one notch in the hit column.Claudio Galva (1-1, 3.86) got the complete-game victory by tossing 5-1/3 innings of two-hit ball, walking one and plunking one. He struck out three and only three of his 10 outs in play were elevated for a Game Score of 69.
