It was a light night on the farm. The AAA and AA teams were off for their all-star breaks and Lansing were rained out. Chris Colabello could not help Dunedin win. Vancouver got five runs in the first inning and had an easy win. Bluefield lost while the GCL Jays had a walk off win thanks to two out RBI hits in the ninth and tenth innings.

Bradenton 8 Dunedin 5
Chris Rowley has been one of Dunedin's best pitchers but he didn't have it on Wednesday. He was hit around for 13 hits and was charged with all eight runs. His ERA jumped from 2.89 to 3.53. Three relievers held Bradenton off the scoreboard.
Dunedin scored four runs in the first inning, it was all downhill from there. Chris Colabello got things started, he doubled to centre. Richard Urena singled, moving Colabello to third. Ryan McBroom then parked one over the centre field wall for a three run shot. The fourth run came when Danny Jansen doubled in Jonathan Davis. Danny Jansen was involved in the fifth run, he was hit by a pitch to move Gunnar Heidt to second. Dickie Thon singled in the run. The Jays had nine hits, Heidt had two of them. Collabello was 1-3 with a walk and a strikeout.
Lansing - Rained Out
Lansing will play two on Thursday.
Vancouver 6 Boise 3
Vancouver were outhit 12-6 but won. It started when the Canadians scored five before Boise came to bat. They loaded the bases in that first inning without a hit. A hit batter, a walk and an error filled them. Christian Williams singled in two, Mattingly Romanin doubled in run number three. Yeltsin Gudino hit a sac fly. A passed ball brought in the fifth run. Five runs scored with just two hits. Williams was involved in the four runs added in the fifth. Williams hit a two run bomb,after Jacob Anderson had doubled in two. That gave Vancouver a 9-0 lead.
Patrick Murphy went six innings. Boise got to him for six hits but Murphy got a couple of double plays and held the Hawks to just one run. Murphy had two K's. Stuart Holmes gave Boise two consolation runs in the ninth.
Princeton 8 Bluefield 3
Like Chris Rowley, Denis Diaz had a bad day. He came into the game in the third inning with Bluefield up 1-0 and a runner on first. That inning he allowed two runs to come in to switch the lead and by the time he left the Jays were down 5-2. Diaz gave up four runs in 5.2 innings. Connor Eller started and went 2.1 innings. He allowed one run on two hits. Angel Alicia was responsible for the other three runs.
The Jays outhit the Rays 12-10 but while the Rays were 5-8 with RISP, the Jays were 5-15. Nash Knight was 3-3 with a walk and his average is now .452. Cam O'Brien and Earl Burl each had two hits. Reggie Pruitt had a hit and his average is .286. Vladdy Jr also had a hit and his average is .221.
GCL Phillies 4 GCL Blue Jays 5
The 2016 GCL Jays have been leading a charmed life. On Wednesday they trailed 4-3 headed to the bottom of the ninth. One run in the ninth and another in the tenth ran their record to 14-3. In the ninth Alfredo Bohorquez led off with a single. A sac bunt and a ground ball moved Bohorquez around to third. With two out Norberto Obeso singled in the tying run. David Jacob doubled to start the tenth. Joshua Palacios singled but Jacob stayed put. A fly ball moved both runners then an intentional walk set up the force. That paid off when Manuel Herazo grounded to third. With two out Sterling Guzman singled for the walk off winner. It was one of Guzman's three hits on on the day. Bo Bichette went 3-5. Obeso and Palacios were 2-5.
Wilfri Aleton went six innings. He had just two K's but didn't walk anyone. Only one of his three runs conceded was earned. Yonardo Hernandez worked the last four innings without a strikeout but got the win.
