It's not that Corey Hart or that Corey Hart but Hart is among the three new additions to fill out the minor league coaching staffs which will see new skippers in Lansing and Vancouver for 2016.
John Schneider - with Juan Kelly at third base during a June 27 game in Vancouver - has a change of address for 2016.
John Schneider moves up the minor league ladder as he leaves Vancouver to take over as manager of the Lansing Lugnuts with new hitting coach Donnie Murphy and returning pitching coach Jeff Ware. John Tamargo Jr. will replace Schneider at the helm in Vancouver to join new pitching coach Willie Collazo and returning hitting coach Dave Pano. Tamargo will also split minor league hitting coordinator duties with Kenny Graham.
Jim Czajowski - overseeing 2015 first round pick Jon Harris in the Vancouver bullpen - will call Dunedin home for the upcoming season.
Jim Czajkowski - Vancouver's pitching coach last season - gets a promotion to handle the same gig in Dunedin where he will join skipper Ken Huckaby and new hitting coach Corey Hart. The band is back together again in Bluefield as Dennis Holmberg returns as manager along with hitting coach Aaron Matthews and pitching coach Antonio Caceras. That rounds out the earlier re-hirings of Gary Allenson and Bobby Meacham to manage Buffalo and New Hampshire respectively.
