The Lansing Lugnuts and the West Michigan Whitecaps will play a third and final game tonight to determine who will go to the Midwest League Final.

Lansing, MI - Starlyn Suriel was slapped around for four runs on six hits and three walks over 3-2/3 innings. He did not strike out any one from the Tigers affiliate and just three of his 10 outs in play were on the ground. Conor Fisk allowed just one of Suriel's runners to score in a bases-loaded situation but he touched up for a two-run home run in 3-1/3 innings. In total, he allowed two hits, two walks (one intentional) and hit a batter while whiffing three. Mark Biggs was marred by two unearned runs on two hits, a walk and a plunk in the eighth. Phil Kish recorded a perfect ninth.
The Lugnuts tied the game at 1-1 in the first on a two-out rally when Jason Leblebijian singled and scored on a Ryan McBroom double. Leblebijian drove in the other two runs with a two-out single in the ninth to drive in a pinch-hit walk by Michael De La Cruz and a pinch-hit single by Alex Maldonado. Leblebijian and McBroom had three hits apiece. Chris Carlson and Justin Atkinson both singled and walked. Danny Jansen added a double and D.J. Davis contributed a base knock. Richard Urena went 0-for-5, David Harris was 0-for-4 and Gunnar Heidt was hitless in three at-bats. Austin Davis was 0-for-1 as a pinch-hitter. Lansing was 2-for-13 with runners in scoring position and left 10 men on base.
