J.C. Cardenas was on base four times with two hits, two walks and stole a base. His game-winning RBI single was the only hit for Vancouver with runners in scoring position.

Earl Burl III had one hit but whiffed four times. There was one at-bat where he expressed his displeasure with some of the umpire's calls. However, he made the big defensive play of the game with his center field assist to get a runner at the plate in the fourth.
For Hillsboro, starter Jeferson Mejia put together a five-inning outing of one run on four hits and two walks. He struck out eight with an assortment of pitches from 78-94 MPH.
