Erie, PA - The Fisher Cats put five runs in the first two innings to run away with this one. A K.C. Hobson sacrifice fly resulted in the first run of the game before New Hampshire erupted for four runs in the second. An error led to the first two runs while a Devon Travis sacrifice fly and a Dalton Pompey single accounted for the other two. Hobson singled home another run in the sixth and pulled off the back end of a double steal that saw Jon Berti scamper home in the seventh. Hobson would then score on a Dwight Smith Jr. RBI single. Hobson, Smith and Pompey had two hits each with Pompey drawing a base on balls and stealing a base. Berti was on base three times with a double and two walks. Jack Murphy singled and walked. Matt Newman had a base hit and Shane Opitz walked. Jorge Flores was hit by a pitch after pinch-hitting for Travis, who was 0-for-3.Casey Lawrence (5-7, 5.68) pitched 7-1/3 innings and surrended just an unearned run after an error by Travis at second. Lawrence scattered nine hits and a walk and struck out two for a Game Score of 59. Greg Burke got the final five outs by stranding two runner and allowing just a hit with three strikeouts over 1-2/3 innings.

Palm Beach, FL - Jeremy Gabryszwski (3-5, 3.98) came out on the short end of a pitching duel against Luke Weaver, the Cardinals first round pick of 2014. Gabby gave up two runs on just three hits over seven frames with a 3-0 K/BB total and 10 of his 16 outs in play remained on the diamond. His Game Score was 68. Alonzo Gonzalez allowed one hit and struck out a pair in a scoreless eighth inning.The D-Jays scored their only run in the seventh when Ian Parmley doubled home Mitch Nay after a one-out single. Matt Dean had the other base hit. Parmley and Christian Lopes were the only ones to work the count to ball four. Lopes and Dawel Lugo both struck out three times. Roemon Fields and J.D. Davis were both 0-for-4 but Fields doubled up a runner at first base from center field. Dickie Joe Thon and Jorge Saez came up empty in their three at-bats.

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Lugnuts are back to 10 games over .500 after beating the Twins affiliate in an afternoon game. Ryan McBroom drew a leadoff walk in the second inning and trotted home on a Jason Leblebijian home run to give the visitors a 2-0 lead. McBroom's sacrifice fly and a Josh Almonte ground out highlighted a three-run third. An Almonte base hit and a Michael De La Cruz fielder's choice sparked another three-run inning in the seventh. Leblebijian was a triple short of the cycle in a 3-for-5 day at the dish. Almonte, Rowdy Tellez and Tim Locastro had two hits apiece but Locastro was caught stealing. Chris Carlson reached base three different ways via a single, a walk and a hit by pitch. Carlson stole second after being plunked but was caught trying to pilfer third. McBroom walked to get on base twice. Richard Urena had a single and Anthony Alford drew a walk.Conner Greene (6-2, 4.31) kept the Kernels from popping by limiting them to a solo home run among four hits over six innings. The Californian righty did keep the ball on the ground for the most part with nine of his 11 outs in play on the grass. He walked a pair but struck out three for a Game Score of 61. Tim Mayza gave up the other run, which was unearned on a De La Cruz passed ball, on a hit and three walks over 1-1/3 innings but he struck out one. Mark Biggs stranded two of three runners and pitched 1-2/3 innings of scoreless, one-hit ball that included one strikeout.

San Pedro de Macoris, DR - The Jays took advantage of six White Sox errors to improve their record to 8-6. Norberto Obeso doubled in the first run and Yorman Rodriguez tripled home two more in the third inning. The Jays got two more runs in the fourth on a wild pitch and a catcher's interference call. A Jesus Navarro RBI single and an error produced two more runs in the seventh. Obeso, Manuel Heraza and Sam Buelens all had two-hit games with Obeso drawing a walk. Jesus Severino also reached base three times with a single and two walks. Navarro got aboard twice by earning a base on balls. Rodriguez had the lone stolen base. Kevin Vicuna and Emanuel Moreta were hit by pitches.Juan Nunez started things off with three scoreless innings on two hits, two walks and a plunk while striking out three. Yensy Diaz (1-1) yielded an unearned run (as the result of a Severino error at short) on just a hit and a walk but struck out four over four innings. Only a walk blemished Jose Acosta's two shutout innings of work.
