The Blue Jays face the Miami Marlins for the first time since the mega-trade of 2012.
Adeiny Hechavarria - who was part of that big trade - was the hero for the Fish yesterday as his 10th inning home run gave them a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rockies Sunday afternoon. That marked the third straight series win for Miami, who are 6-3 in their last nine contests. They are 24-33, 6-1/2 games back of the New York Mets in the NL East.
Jose Reyes - also part of the big deal - threw a nice hip check (kidding!) on Jonathan Villar to keep a ninth-inning rally going that culminated in Chris Colabello's two-run single to give the Jays a come-from-behind 7-6 win over Houston to complete a three-game sweep. Toronto is 4-1/2 games behind the Yankees for top spot in the AL East with a 28-30 record.
