After a sweep on Thursday the affiliates registered just one win on Friday. In his first game for the Jays, Ronald Torreyes delivered a tie breaking three run double that won the game for New Hampshire. Daniel Norris had a wild start for the Bisons, Dunedin's bats were dormant and Lansing almost had a big comeback.
Buffalo 2 Toledo 3
Daniel Norris walked the first three hitters of the game. He escaped with just one conceded. The second inning was routine, as was the third but Norris did walk one more. The fourth started double, single, single, all ground balls. A line drive double made it three runs allowed by Norris and he was finished after the inning. In his four innings Norris threw 88 pitches, 46 strikes and 42 balls.
The Bisons two runs came in the fifth thanks to back to back triples by AJ Jimenez and Jonathan Diaz. Both Jimenez and Diaz led the Bisons with two hits each, and both had a double and a triple. Jimenez got his batting average up to .200, Diaz is just short. After a slow start Jimenez is hitting .250 in May with a 756 OPS.
