The affiliates were 3-3 today with a bunch of strong hitting and starting pitching performances. DJ Davis helped Lansing, and Jon Berti helped New Hampshire with walk off hits, leading their team to victory.
Tercet is out of country but still prepared this MLU. I am posting it for him.
Buffalo 2 - Pawtucket 3
PJ Walters was solid allowing 3 earned runs over 6 innings, and Aaron Sanchez had a scoreless 7th inning in his second relief appearance for Buffalo. Kevin Pillar had 3 of Bisons 4 hits, which included him scoring 2 runs with a double and his 4th HR.
Portland 2 - New Hampshire 3
Casey Lawrence was solid allowing 2 earned runs over 8 innings, on 10 hits, with no walks and 7 strikeouts. New Hampshire came from behind, and won their game in the bottom of the 9th by scoring 2 runs. Dalton Pompey scored the game winning run in the 9th inning when Jon Berti singled him home.
Bradenton 11 - Dunedin 5
Frank Viola had another bad start, this time allowing 10 earned over 4.2 innings. Dwight Smith hit a 2 run HR in the 8th inning, which was his 7th of the year.
Clinton 3 - Lansing 4
DJ Davis hit his 7th HR in the bottom of the 10th which ended up giving the Lugnuts a walk-off win. Jeremy Gabryszwski continued to be solid for Lansing allowing 3 earned over 7 innings pitched.
Vancouver 9 - Tri-City 0
Chase Mallard was given the start and pitched 5.1 scoreless innings. Jose Fernandez, Alberto Tirado and Andrew Case finished up the game without allowing a run. The Canadians scored 9 runs on 12 hits and a walk. Ryan McBroom was the Canadians player of the game scoring two runs, going 3-4 with his 6th HR, a double, and 4 RBI.
Bluefield 4 - Pulaski 5
Rowdy Tellez finally hit his 1st HR of the season which knocked in 2 runs in the 6th inning. On the pitching side Daniel Lietz gave up 3 earned runs over 4.1 innings on 6 hits, with no walks, and 8 strikeouts.
