Daytona Beach, FL -

Chad Girodo was smacked around for six hits and three walks, leading to two runs (one earned but it was Girodo's error) over three frames. He struck out a pair. Danny Barnes (0-4) gave up a solo homer to Albert Almora and also walked a batter in the eighth.

Lansing 5 West Michigan 4

Lansing, MI -
The Lugnuts first run was a D.J. Davis production. He walked with two outs, stole second, went to third on an errant throw and dashed home on a wild pitch in the third.
